Hoppy Happydays

Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!

— We interrupt this blog with an important bulletin. —

It's that time of year again.

Now what?

Maybe I'll scratch for a while, and then go out to lunch.

But that would mean I'd have to get dressed.

This might require some thought.

Meanwhile, there's nothing better than spending some quiet time with a few close friends.

Here's a shot of my nearest and dearest buddies that expresses the old-time spirit of whatever day this is...

OK, right — feeding time, isn't it? I'll catch on one of these days.

Bye for now.

  1. I used to have trouble with the whole getting dressed thing until last year, after my long distance hike, when I decided I could wear the same thing everyday even when I wasn't on the trail anymore. No one even seemed to noice except my friends and they excused me for not transitioning to off-trail life so it was OK. And then I started volunteering where they give you a uniform and then it got even easier.

Thank you for posting some photos that look more like my holiday season than they stuff I've been seeing in my fb feed of other people's perfect lives.

  2. I'm glad you weren't offended. I'm not quite as crazy as I sound. I just like seeing the cracks between things.

It's the sort of stuff that I send my sister, like this too:

Not actually a slob either. I hear that the maid likes me -- I tidy up before she gets here and stay out of her way. Even though she takes an hour to clean my place, there's nothing much to do, and she can relax by watching TV. That works too.
